Homecoming: Acme Comedy Co. Book Release Event
When it comes to Acme Comedy Company, it's easy to think about sold out crowds, world famous performers, and a reputation as one of the best comedy clubs in the country. But how did we get here?
This March, you'll be able to learn about the history of Acme, as well as the journey of owner Louis Lee, with the new book, Home Club: Up-and-Comers and Comebacks at Acme Comedy Company, available from the Minnesota Historical Society.
To celebrate the book's release, we're having a special, one-night-only walk down memory lane, as author Patrick Strait will be joined for a conversation with some of the most talented and influential performers in Acme history. Plus, for the first time ever (and maybe last!) Acme owner Louis Lee will be live on stage, sharing his memories of the incredible history of Acme, and some of the unbelievable stories of the past 30+ years.
It will be a night of reliving memories and celebrating the legacy of one of the most important clubs in all of comedy!
